About the educational institution.

LLC “Izmail Professional College of Economics and Law” began its activities in 1997 and for twenty-eight years has been actively involved in training specialists for enterprises and organizations of various forms of ownership in the southern part of the Odesa region.

The history of the college began on October 1, 1997 with the creation of the Izmail Technical School of Economics and Law with the approval of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, upon the request of the regional state administration.

When the Izmail Technical School of Economics and Law was created, most of the teachers and employees of the Izmail Technical School of Production Automation, which was liquidated in 1997, with extensive experience in educational, organizational, pedagogical and methodological work, were engaged to work at the institution.

The College Director is Sukhova Lyudmyla Oleksandrivna. She graduated from the Kyiv Technological Institute of Light Industry with a degree in “Economics and Organization of Consumer Goods Industry”. She has many years of managerial and teaching experience.

By decision of the State Accreditation Commission dated February 10, 1998, the Izmail Technical School of Economics and Law received a license to carry out educational activities at the first level of accreditation in the direction of “Law” with the specialty “Jurisprudence”.

On April 7, 1998, the Izmail Technical School of Economics and Law received licenses to carry out educational activities to train junior specialists in the direction of “Economics and Entrepreneurship” in the specialties of “Enterprise Economics” and “Accounting”.

On July 7, 1998, the technical school received a license to carry out educational activities to train junior specialists in the direction of “Computer Science” in the specialty “Programming for EOT and automated systems”.

In September 1998, the technical school became a member of the Odessa Regional Board of Directors and Methodological Associations of Educational Institutions of the region.

The Department of Education and Science of the Odessa Regional State Administration granted the educational institution the right to provide educational services related to obtaining complete general secondary education (specialized secondary education).

Since November 2008, the Izmail Professional College of Economics and Law has been a collective member of the All-Ukrainian public organization “Association of Employees of Higher Educational Institutions of I-II Levels of Accreditation”, which guarantees the protection of its professional interests and provides legal support in accordance with the Charter of the Association and current legislation.

By the decision of the General Meeting of Participants of the Izmail College of Economics and Law, approved by the General Meeting of the Labor Collective, in 2021 the Izmail College of Economics and Law was renamed into the Limited Liability Company “Izmail Professional College of Economics and Law”.

The provision of educational services related to obtaining professional pre-higher education at the Professional Junior Bachelor degree level is carried out on the basis of a license issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Izmail Professional College of Economics and Law carries out its activities in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine, the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On Education”, “On Professional Pre- Higher Education” and the Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the field of education, regulatory and legal documents of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, and its own Charter.

Izmail Professional College of Economics and Law trains professional junior bachelors in full-time and part-time study on the basis of complete general secondary education and basic general secondary education in fields of knowledge and specialties in accordance with the Information on the right to carry out educational activities in the field of professional pre-higher education of the Unified State Electronic Education Database.
Izmail Professional College of Economics and Law has been certified at the level of complete general secondary education (Level III) and accredited in all academic specialties.

LLC “Izmail Professional College of Economics and Law” has 3 departments: programming, law, economics; 4 cycle commissions, 3 of which are graduating: in computer disciplines and mathematics, legal disciplines, and economic disciplines.

Izmail Professional College of Economics and Law trains professional junior bachelors in accordance with state standards, educational and professional programs of specialties, taking into account the norms and requirements for the level of theoretical and practical training of modern specialists.
College students are provided with the necessary regulatory, reference, and scientific and methodological literature: 100% textbooks and manuals, educational and methodological materials, modern personal electronic computers and application programs for them.

The college’s material and technical base meets modern requirements and allows for adequate theoretical and practical training, and continues to develop.

The development strategy of the higher educational institution is implemented within the framework of the model of training a competitive specialist and provides for the creation of pedagogical and educational and didactic resources in order to provide high-quality educational process in all specialties of the college.

Directions and content of the development of the educational institution:

• introduction of the selection of highly qualified and competent pedagogical workers capable of developing and implementing the latest teaching technologies and diagnosing the level of knowledge;
• training highly qualified personnel from among its own teaching staff to create a powerful pedagogical potential of the educational institution;
• generalization of theoretical and methodological foundations necessary for the creation and implementation of the latest learning technologies;
• development and implementation of the concept of end-to-end computerization of the educational process;
• implementation of new principles, forms and methods of organizing the educational process, introduction of interactive teaching methods;
• improving the forms and methods of independent and individual work of students;
• development, testing and implementation of psychological and pedagogical technologies for training, education and formation of various types of cultures of future specialists;
• restructuring of departments (technical re-equipment of classrooms, computerization, strengthening of the library fund, creation of a business foreign language center, introduction of modern infrastructure of the educational complex of the educational institution);
• ensuring reliable connections between all elements of the educational process and scientific and research work, increasing the level of their manageability, the effectiveness of educational and methodological and scientific and methodological support;
• introduction of comprehensive programs of comprehensive practical training of future specialists in accordance with the requirements of degree-based education;
• forming the proper image of structural units and the educational institution as a whole.
